How Movies Teach Manhood

He does a great job discussing the difference of female roles in movies and what they do to contribute to the plot. He says that 1 out of 5 women in America have been sexually assaulted in their life. This is a mind-blowing number which I am not proud of.

Kids Need Structure

The general who presented his views on children needing structure did a very good job presenting himself. His stories were meaningful and well composed. He kept himself in a very calm manner and had a voice much like the soothing sound of Darth Vader's actor. He mentioned how kids who don't have parents that read to them when they are little are more likely to drop out of school and be thrown in jail by age 18. This fact seems so scary to me and I really thought he had strong pathos in this seminar of his. He made me want to reach out and donate to an inner city school.

I came home today ready to feed Stan and watch him sit in his pitcher and stare at the wall.  To my surprise he was laying at the bottom of the lemonade pitcher not moving at all.  RIP buddy. Stan 1/15/13 - 1/17/13.

Life Changes its Course

A fish arrived at my doorstep today to my surprise.  He's a cute little beta and his name is Stan.  Hopefully his stay in my house turns out to be long and pleasant for the guy.  My 4 cats might not share the same feelings as I do tho.
